Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
I am part of a local group called Refresh Miami. It's a tech community that comes together to discuss different topics with respect to technology. The community also has some hackathon events for a good cause. I remember attending one of these events where a local company wanted to build out a communication tool for people in Cuba to get the news in the U.S. and around the world. To get around the data restrictions imposed on Cuban citizens, we created a program that returned free news data based on whatever the question was in the subject line of the email. My parents are Cuban, so this was an interesting project for me.

Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
I like to give my time to JAFCO - (Jewish Adoption and Family Care Options) JAFCO’s mission is to care for abused and neglected children and those with disabilities in the Jewish community and to work in partnership with families and the entire community. They are always collecting goods for camp and during the holidays you can bring presents and help wrap gifts. I also donate classes and events to many other charities.

Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
The Mango Festival is coming up in July at Fairchild. It’s always nice to go to, but it’s really hot. They also have a downtown market called the Flea that is a lot of fun.

Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
The Farber Law Firm is thrilled to be a Featured Sponsor of the upcoming LIVE ULTIMATE SEED FOOD & WINE 5K RUN. Hosted by NBA legend Ray Allen on Saturday November 4th in the Wynwood Arts District in Miami, 100% of proceeds will be donated to Jennifer Lopez's charity Somos Una Voz, a charity formed by an alliance of artists focused on rushing much needed aid to those affected by recent Hurricanes. The event will also be held in conjunction with the Seed Food & Wine Week at Mana Wynwood Convention Center.

Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
We work with several charities. Many of our customers have neurological disorders and we try and support as many as we can. The most recent ones that come to mind is the MS Bike and MS Walk. We set up tables after races to share what we do and are always willing to participate in many charity events. Last weekend we were able to go to the Rock n Run event for the Miami Cancer Institute to benefit breast and ovarian cancer. It was a great event and I thank Meredith and Amy for getting us involved.

Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
Up here in our area, there's this cool new house being turned into a community center. It's called Finca Morada. They do a lot of cool community programming, like queer and trans friendly women's circles. They do community work days once a month where volunteers help transform their half-acre into a permaculture food forest. I go to yoga there every Thursday, it's a donation, sliding scale, yoga. And, Buenezas, which means weeds is a very cool not for profit that functions out of Earth and Us. They received a Knight foundation grant to do a series of community workshops using and cooking with weeds. And, everything that Urban Oasis project does is cool. They do a farmer dinner series throughout the season that highlights a different local farmer and they have a chef come and make dishes around that farmer's specialties.

Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
million to numerous people and organizations in order to improve the quality of life for people living with spinal cord injuries. We have our annual spearfishing tournament coming up in a few weeks, everybody is invited to come and participate! (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/7th-annual-lionfish-bash-tickets-34031478067#tickets) The Woody Foundation also holds an annual golf tournament, lobster dinner, and free benefit concert called Woodystock.

Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
The Miami Greek Festival at St. Andrews Greek Orthodox Church is November 15-17, 2019. Also, we support the Pararescue Foundation which is dedicated to supporting US Air Force Pararescue and Combat Rescue Officers service members, veterans and their families.

Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
I'm very active in a bunch. I'm on a number of committees for United Way and that's one organization that I strongly support. I'm on the board of trustees at Temple Judea and we spend a lot of time there. For the last decade, Ben and I have both volunteered with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Miami. I would say in general, I'm very passionate about women's and children's issues. So, I participate in a number of mentorship and professional organizations that are aimed at supporting women and children. And in particular, early childhood literacy is my big plug.
