Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
I'm working on my first ever political campaign, because I've never wanted to do anything for politicians. But, Cindy Lerner is running for Miami-Dade County Commissioner so I'm contributing by donating my graphic expertise to her campaign. She's running for district seven.

Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
I am a cancer survivor and very involved with the American Cancer Society’s East Kendall Relay for Life. It is taking place, March 10, in front of Baptist Hospital. It’s a huge event that we fundraise for all year. The big event takes place 12 noon – 9 pm. There are about 70 different tents set up around the lake with food, activities, music, and things for kids. We have raised a lot each year and it’s a lot of fun.

Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
The one thing I've seen that I'm interested in is run through Pura Vida and it's called Clean Miami Beach. They do everything they can to clean up plastic and trash around Miami beach.

Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
I'm not too big into politics, but I'm thinking about all those Texas kids in the shooting and thinking about what can be done. It was just disgusting what happened. I have a young nephew and thinking about a kid going to school and thinking about him getting shot at or anything doesn't sit well with me.

Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
I'm a big fan of public radio. I support WLRN, which is our local affiliate. I also give my support to Sarah Lawrence College. Also, there's a group that I find important called Americans for Immigrant Justice that gives legal support to mostly immigrant children. And, there's a wonderful music organization called Miami Music Project. They teach classical music to inner city kids. The program is transforming.

Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
I'm part of a networking group that meets once a week called BNI - which stands for Business Networking International. There's 34 chapters here in Miami. The unique part is that there's only one person, per category in each chapter. (So, you've only got one social media guy, one architect, one printer...) We exchange about $1.5 million a year in business with each other. The structure has been around for 30 years.

Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
Definitely Kristi House. I'm on the board of The Lucy Project, they provide sliding scale tutoring for kids who are dyslexic. The Junior League does important philanthropic work in our community as well as build future community leaders.

Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
Art Basel for sure. That's coming up in December. The whole week brings culture to the city. I like to interact with other artists and creative people.

Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
I'm a volunteer at the Barnacle and also a volunteer at Shake-a-Leg. That's a great program. I donate to Sea Shepherd. They broke off from Greenpeace about 35 years ago. They are fighting for the ocean, fighting for the seas, fighting for the whales. They're the ones that put their ships between the Japanese and Norwegian whalers. They're real progressive and aggressive fighters for the ocean.

Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
We are both passionate about supporting agencies that work with kids and adults with diverse abilities such as Best Buddies, Special Olympics, and other local groups.
