Just the fact that, 'why would you want to live anywhere else?' I know we have hurricanes and stuff like that, but we are the future. We're so many nationalities living together and really not having much of a problem, where it seems like other towns do.

I am addicted to Salsa dancing and the Cha Cha and before the lockdown it was the Tango. So, I would probably take them out dancing. Also, before COVID, we were going to the South Miami Dade Cultural Arts Center. The last show we saw there was the Naked Magician which was fun. So, I might take people to the cultural center.

Hungry Bear! Make sure to try the honey mustard chicken sub. I’ve been a huge fan since high school and have now introduced the next generation to this best kept Kendall secret.

There's a place I'll tell you about that makes an incredible sandwich called Airport Cafe & Liquors. It looks like a little liquor store, but there's a little Cuban café in there. Once a week he makes a sandwich of the week. You can look at it on Instagram. They're incredible. It's off of 36th street near the airport. You're surprised when you go in there and then you're blown away by the sandwich.

The cinnamon buns on 232nd and Krome. The original chefs, of the buns from Knaus Berry Farm, relocated there and are still using the original recipe. I think they are a little bit better – especially without the three-hour wait.

The PINECREST FARMERS MARKET! It is wonderful way to spend a delicious, entertaining and healthy Sunday, where you can learn “where your food actually comes from” and meet so many wonderful vendors and people. This is what LIFE is about.

The program that Harvey goes to, during the week, is really amazing. It’s called the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Miami. People don’t know about it - we tell people all the time and encourage a lot of people to go. They have classes for 50 and older. It’s a very incredible program. They teach all different things – history, politics, music, film, art, languages – even mahjong. They have great teachers. Harvey took a class on History of South Florida by a local historian. Now, he keeps repeating a class taught by a fantastic woman who’s a PhD in International Relations. She talks about what’s going on in the world and international politics.

I would say the farmer's market, but that's not true anymore. We’ve been Fairchild Gardens members since we moved here. And most days absent of them having a big festival, it is quiet and beautiful. We always see different things and the kids just love it. And, when my parents come to visit - it is sort of a ritual that we go and walk around. It's a pretty special place to us.

Fairchild garden is really nice. There's birds and wading birds there too. I think that's a good secret.
