What's Miami's best kept secret?
I think it's like what you guys are doing. It's what we can grow here and how special the tropical fruits are. It's how different they are from what's grown anywhere else. Maybe, not everyone fully takes it into account.

The biggest kept secret is probably that Miami has a lot more to offer than cruise ships and South Beach.

I love the Deering Estate. I also love the area by the Chinese Bridge. Even though I've lived here my entire life, I didn't know that it existed until a few years ago when I started running back there. It's really quiet and and scenic; there's always birds and wildlife around there.

You guys! I'm always scared of waking up on a Saturday or Sunday and the line to get a smoothie is around the block.

Your stand is one of them. Also, your father is one of our prime teachers. I don't know if many people have heard him lecture, but they should. And he's now teaching on Zoom.

The first thing that came to my mind is you guys. My kids wake up on Sunday morning saying let's go get our smoothies. They absolutely love them. I don't know if that's a secret, but we love it.

The first thing that comes to my mind is Matheson Hammock. Anytime I pass by it and I'm in the car, with anybody besides my family members, I'll ask if they've ever heard of Matheson Hammock. And I'm like, Oh my Gosh, how have you not heard of it? I feel like it is a nice little hidden gem. I like to go and watch the sunset. It's a beautiful place. I like going right on the edge. If you're driving in, on your right side is the beach and on the left side is where you can rent the kite boards. I like standing right there and looking out onto the Bay and seeing downtown and all of the buildings. It's really just a beautiful place to be.

I would say you guys would definitely be on that list. Fairchild is amazing, exploring the natural parks too like the Gumbo Limbo trail in Everglades National Park, Shark Valley, going down to the keys, Bill Bags State Park, Virginia Key... I'm an outdoorsy person, so those are my favorite places to go.

La Minutera in Hialeah. It's just wonderful seafood. We always get the whole fried fish. They load you up with French fries and their really well-done rice. It's delicious.

You can eat all the mangos you want without buying them, if you’re willing to go for a walk through the residential areas during mango season.
