Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
When lockdown occurred and we were not going out and doing much, we joined Fairchild Botanical Garden and learned about Connect to Protect, which is an amazing program. Michael mentioned them last week too. One of the perks of the program, is you get five plants that are native to the Pine Rocklands ecosystem.

Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
I am a member of The Villagers. They keep me pretty busy. We do a home tour every December and we also have a garden tour. And, I'm big on St. Jude's.

Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
Of course, I want to shout out Breakthrough Miami. The Scholar Celebration is always one of my favorites. It's a non-sit-down cocktail dinner party that is interactive and brings together five of Miami's best independent schools and their supporters for a common cause. The Ayiti Trust is a new player in town and I love supporting them. And, Give Miami Day is coming up and I think it is really so amazing that our community can, on one day, donate and support so many great causes. Collectively it makes our community feel connected because we give from our hearts and from our wallets and we raise millions of dollars and that's an awesome thing. And the Seed School of Miami is on that list!

Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
I like to give my time to JAFCO - (Jewish Adoption and Family Care Options) JAFCO’s mission is to care for abused and neglected children and those with disabilities in the Jewish community and to work in partnership with families and the entire community. They are always collecting goods for camp and during the holidays you can bring presents and help wrap gifts. I also donate classes and events to many other charities.

Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
On my sixth birthday I started asking for donations to the apes instead of presents. I also volunteer and participate in Art 4 Apes. I like to have lemonade stands with my friends. When I was eight I decided I wanted to raise $10,000 by the time I turned ten. I reached this goal at the age of eleven and I have now raised over $12,000.

Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
I am part of a local group called Refresh Miami. It's a tech community that comes together to discuss different topics with respect to technology. The community also has some hackathon events for a good cause. I remember attending one of these events where a local company wanted to build out a communication tool for people in Cuba to get the news in the U.S. and around the world. To get around the data restrictions imposed on Cuban citizens, we created a program that returned free news data based on whatever the question was in the subject line of the email. My parents are Cuban, so this was an interesting project for me.

Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
We are members of Temple Judea and love the community there. We joined four or five years ago when we moved to Coral Gables. Not only for our kids, but for us, in our adult years it's often difficult to meet new friends. We've been able to meet a nice group of people.

Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
I am involved with the Baptist Foundation as part of Miami Cancer Institute, which supports our research.

Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
We haven't done it in a while, but we used to go a lot to the Rotary club in Brickell and Key Biscayne. It's a really good organization. If you want do volunteer work, they always have something available that you can get involved with.

Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
Art Basel for sure. That's coming up in December. The whole week brings culture to the city. I like to interact with other artists and creative people.
