Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
Yes. I am currently working with Bianca's Kids. Philanthropy has been something that has always been very important to me. I yearn to do more. Bianca's kids works with underprivileged families that have psychological, emotional, or physical traumas. A month ago I presented this to Dana Williams, the owner of our school, to go into partnership with them as their educational model. Now, these children can get an education through our scholarship fund. I'm really excited about it.

Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
Guitars over Guns, they're here in Miami and they're also in Chicago and a couple other cities. It's a music based activity for underserved communities. It's a way to get young people involved in music rather than then guns. We've been able to sponsor a couple of events at the university that they've been involved with with our music fraternity. The Donna Shalala Music Reach is another organization that sends out University of Miami students to give music lessons to students throughout South Florida that wouldn't have the opportunity to experience music lessons.

Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
I don't have anything particularly that I am promoting at at the moment, but I think it's exciting that there are a lot of events coming back online for people to engage and connect. I think that's a lot of what we've been missing in the last few years.

Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
I’ve been Marie Kondo'ing my life for several years now, The Lotus House is the exclusive recipient of the excess of things I no longer care to hold onto. Human Rights Watch opened a Miami Chapter recently, I highly recommend their upcoming Voices for Justice annual dinner March 14, 2019 at the New World Center in Miami Beach.

Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
As a family, we've felt the best way to reach the community is through our local church. We attend, Christ Fellowship's Palmetto Bay campus. Through the church they have, Carring for Miami, which helps the homeless in different parts of the city. Also on a regular basis, they do 'Love Miami', which is where they inspire members to do something in their local community and pitch in towards the greater good.

Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
One group that we've been involved with for the entirety of my girls' lives is called Friend of South Florida Music. They're a wonderful nonprofit that provides music educational to underserved communities. A couple other groups that are near and dear to my heart because of my daughter's condition is the Coalition Against Pediatric Pain. Also, US Pain Foundation. Both work with children living in chronic pain, whether it's something like my daughter has or any other type of condition. They provide family camps in the summer and a lot of support for families going through this. It's not just the child that has to deal with it, but it affects the entire family. So they've both been amazing in our journey.

Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
I give a lot to FIU. I give to the first generation fund that funds students who are the first in their families to go to college. I believe very much in education. The Children's Movement of Florida for instance is one that I give to regularly. Institutions that generally focus on education are always on my brain.
Jason
Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
We work with several charities. Many of our customers have neurological disorders and we try and support as many as we can. The most recent ones that come to mind is the MS Bike and MS Walk. We set up tables after races to share what we do and are always willing to participate in many charity events. Last weekend we were able to go to the Rock n Run event for the Miami Cancer Institute to benefit breast and ovarian cancer. It was a great event and I thank Meredith and Amy for getting us involved.

Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
I'm a volunteer at the Barnacle and also a volunteer at Shake-a-Leg. That's a great program. I donate to Sea Shepherd. They broke off from Greenpeace about 35 years ago. They are fighting for the ocean, fighting for the seas, fighting for the whales. They're the ones that put their ships between the Japanese and Norwegian whalers. They're real progressive and aggressive fighters for the ocean.

Are there any community events or groups that are important to you and your family?
My husband and I are big sailors so we support two yacht clubs. My father was a founding member of the Coral Reef Yacht Club. The other area that I would like to get involved in is the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Biscayne Nature Center.
