What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend? My kids love Sports Grill. It's right down the street from our house. I loved Scotty's, before it left us. I like something with a water view outside with a breeze where you can get a good fish sandwich. While you don't quite have the view, I like the patio at the Spillover, and they have music on the weekends. We'll usually go to River Oyster bar. It's kind of a go-back to our old days of being single and no kids. And if it's a nice weather night, we like going to Mandolin.
Big Brother, Big Sister, Counter Culture, Fairchild Tropical Garden, Mandolin, No Name Harbor, PAMM, River Oyster Bar, ...
What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend? Some of our favorite haunts – Green Gables Café on Alhambra. They are open for lunch and have a diversified menu. There’s never a bad dish – I usually get one of the specials. Café Vialetto – off of Bird and Le June – The chef/owner is the most endearing, loving man and makes you feel like you’re at your brother’s house. Normally we get the pasta of the day – which he makes fresh. He makes great salads. I’ll order without opening the menu just by talking with him about what I am in the mood for. Izakaya for Japanese, and Blue Collar for old fashion comfort food -they have a great veggie plate.

What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend?Kiki does not love to go to restaurants very often because she cooks and we have too many great cooks in the family. However, when we do go out, we love LAN Pan Asian for Age tofu and fiery spinach, The Seven Dials for creative salads and fish and chips & yummy desserts, pizza from Apizza Brooklyn, and Ghee in Downtown Dadeland ( followed by dessert at Nanndi!)
What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend? The best food is the one you cook at home. But, I like Maroosh in Coral Gables and some of the new places in the Wynwood area that offer plant based foods.
What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend? My favorite restaurant was a Vietnamese place called Hy Vong. Unfortunately, they closed. They do some popups now and at some farmer’s markets. We go to places nearby - Whisk, Titanic and Matsuri.
What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend?Maria Corona Produce. It's a local farm and they have a really killer selection. It's close you your warehouse at 184th and 157th ave. If you're willing to take a drive out to eighth street street, Taquerias El Mexicanos is one of the best taco places in Miami. It's one of the few restaurants that get something different every time. There's Miwi, which is a local good Cuban place. There's Al Rancho Grande, another great Mexican spot. And, there's El Tambo Grill for Peruvian rotisserie chicken, rice and beans.
