To me, quality foods, drinks and farmer’s markets are a very worthy splurge.

L'artisane Bakery. It's a vegan bakery. They have a vegan croissant egg sandwich. And you would think you're eating an egg and butter. It's delicious.

Studio equipment. The possibilities are endless. I’d get myself a nice analog board. There is something that digital has not been able to replicate. You hear it in all the old records like Led Zepplin and the Doors. There are harmonics and natural distortion that comes from analog boards. It’s different than recording straight into a computer.

An experience that I may not get the chance to have again. Like, trying new fruits with my kiddos.

What for you is a worthy splurge?
I enjoy Dolphin season tickets. I love going to those games. When I was young, my dad used to take us to the Orange Bowl. He was like all the other old Cuban dads, we had to get tickets under the roof, but we still took ponchos to every game. I've done that now with my younger daughter and she's become a huge football fan. She loves going and it doesn't matter how bad they stink, she just loves going to football games.

Clothes. Not that I am a shopper. I'm either on the farm or in the kitchen and neither of those things really require much of a wardrobe. So, buying clothing for myself is a splurge.

One of my favorite moments is to sit down on the patio at my house, watch a soccer game and have a scotch. That's my moment.

What for you is a worthy splurge?
One would be anything food related. We'll splurge and get stone crabs or sushi. Our kids have also taken on sushi. My son can put down a plate of sushi, like no one's business. It's unbelievable. What started out as a this is very cute and funny has turned into a very expensive take out bill. If there's room for two, the other splurge is traveling. I think investing in experiences is truly very important.

Getting on a plane, or in a car and going to an away football game. That's my idea of vacation.
