What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend?
Lately we are more conscious about what we put in our bodies and being responsible for where we choose to eat. We love Cafe Pastis for our neighborhood haunt. The salad with goat cheese, the soups, and the mussels are to die for. And my son of course, gets the Steak au Poivre with extra French fries.

Kiki does not love to go to restaurants very often because she cooks and we have too many great cooks in the family. However, when we do go out, we love LAN Pan Asian for Age tofu and fiery spinach, The Seven Dials for creative salads and fish and chips & yummy desserts, pizza from Apizza Brooklyn, and Ghee in Downtown Dadeland ( followed by dessert at Nanndi!)

Hillstone for beef ribs and Joe’s for stone crabs

We like Raw South like for a quick light lunch. We like Indian food, so we go to Ghee a lot. We like Glass and Vine, because the kids can play like alongside us at the park. And, we love Hillstone – it’s an oldie but a classic.

Plant Food and Wine now has a new name – it’s a beautiful restaurant and all health foods. Horatio is the chef and they are great customers of ours. It’s so unique, I love everything. You must go there and see. They changed the management recently. The building owner took over and the staff and chef stayed. We went to Flemings last week for my wife’s birthday. It’s the only time I eat meat. I grew up eating steaks, now I get them once a birthday.

What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend?
There's a Mexican restaurant in Florida City, called Taqueria Morelia. It's literally connected to a gas station and it's the best Mexican food that I've had ever in my life. Every time I've gone it's been nothing but exceptional. I really enjoy the tacos. Coyo Taco is really cool because it's a restaurant in front, but in the back they have like a hidden club. One of my good friends spins every weekend and they throw a really good party. It's called Lovers and Friends and it's really nice. Also, there's a nice little bar called Gramps.

We do a lot of cooking at home so trips to local restaurants are the staples, Wagon’s West, Malanga, really miss Ruben’s!

Kitchen 33 in the Grove - we love their ceviche, fried rice, beets, and the Peruvian beer.
