What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend?
Right now, we're on our way to meet some friends at Timeout Market in Miami Beach. Martina is vegan, so we try to find vegan places. We like the Mexican place in Wynwood, Bakan. If we're on South Beach, I go to the cafeteria at Joe's and get some stone crabs, just to take advantage of the local seafood here. William likes Harry's in the Grove.

Every Sunday or Monday evening, like clockwork, I get take out from Tropical Chinese. Also, Madruga Bakery. My wife is French and her parents are French and make baguette requests when I go to see them in Clearwater, FL.

We travel up and down Krome Avenue a lot. So, we like to frequent the nurseries and the natural fruit stands around that area. I like the Last Carrot in Coconut Grove. I've been going there since I was a teenager. It's funny that question brought me to realize how long I've been here at home and not going anywhere.

We go to Whisk quite a bit, and Joanna's market. And Cecile, the French bakery in South Miami.

We're so spoiled in Coral Gables and South Miami. The Ritz Carlton in Coconut Grove just opened up a new restaurant called Isabelle's - It's fantastic. Doc B's is a new restaurant, sort of like Hillstone's, that is good and close by. They have an angry meatball that is delicious. And, Bombay Darbar or Strada in the Grove. I've recently started going back to Christie's steakhouse, which is ironic because of course that's where I grew up going for special occasions. It's so special to walk in there and it's so familiar. The service is great. The food is great.

We used to love going to Anacapri in Pinecrest all the time. Joe's for sure. Or, this week - we're going to Captain's Tavern. That's an iconic, signature place, where everybody can go and hang out.

I love Ghee. I think Niven is doing Indian food like nobody else in this country. And the fact that he's growing much of it is just so special. We went to the opening of Salumeria 104's second location. They've had one in Midtown for a few years. It's very Italian, and it's reasonable. You can get three different kinds of prosciutto. It's just terrific.

We have been really in our bubble. Since Jacob started working with Grove Bay hospitality we have been to a lot of their restaurants and they are really great and family friendly. We are always up for trying some ice cream...so Whip and Dip or the Chill-N in South Miami. Recently we went to Stubborn Seed on Miami beach, which was so fantastic.

I really enjoy Whisk, with my husband, for a date night. We love Tropical Chinese. They've been around forever.
