What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend?
Plant Food and Wine now has a new name – it’s a beautiful restaurant and all health foods. Horatio is the chef and they are great customers of ours. It’s so unique, I love everything. You must go there and see. They changed the management recently. The building owner took over and the staff and chef stayed. We went to Flemings last week for my wife’s birthday. It’s the only time I eat meat. I grew up eating steaks, now I get them once a birthday.

We love, Ghee. But, our go to is LAN. They are under Target near Dadeland. It's quick, with easy parking and my girls are vegetarians and it's easy for them to find food they love. It's easy for the rest of us too, who are not vegetarians. Ghee is good for a special occasion. I also like Seasons 52. I know it's a big chain, but it has a nice feeling. There's a middle eastern place in the Royal Palm Hotel, at the end of Lincoln road, called Byblos that transported me. We went for Miami Spice.

For a pasta – in the new Brickell City Market there is a hand made pasta station. Their Bolognese is phenomenal. I really like the gator fingers at Lokal – owned by Matthew Kuscher. A new hidden gem is Shelly’s in South Miami. And on Tuesday, you can get their whole fish collar for $20.

What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend?
We eat out a lot. My daughter has declared herself a foodie. We like exposing her to as many flavors as possible and we don’t subscribe to the idea of taking her to restaurants that cater to children. We really want her to eat what we eat. We like the St Roche Market because you don't have to eat at the same place every time and they've got that great bar in the middle and there's a lot of healthy options. We like Seasons 52 in the Gables, Matsuri on Bird Road and Dragonfly in Doral. For a date night, my husband and I really like Byblos and Planta on the Beach - the creativity that goes into their Vegan menu is incredible.

Recently, we went to Golden Rule with some friends. They have a new outdoor dining area. The blackened fish tacos were great. Sushi Rock in Suniland is also a regular. We order in a lot too. Big Tomato is good. You can get a whole wheat crust and the salads are good.

In Pinecrest: Daily Bread, Cheese Course, Joanna’s. Brickell: River Oyster Bar, the new Fleming's and for French food, Le Petite Mason. We love Crust on Miami River. It is an Italian restaurant with great food. I get their angel hair pasta with olive oil and garlic, and an arugula salad. The portions are huge – so you have to share everything.

Ghee in Downtown Dadeland. I like the lentil fritters. Their vegetarian dishes are great. Plant Food and Wine in Wynwood. I appreciate what they are doing.

My kids are currently hooked on Pub Belly Sushi. They like to get the corn, edamame and the butter crab roll. My wife's birthday is coming up. We're going to Zuma for brunch. Definitely take Uber or Lyft because it's endless drinks.

Mandolin is a great one. They opened a new 'diner concept' on Biscayne Boulevard in a historic hotel called Gregory's. And it has a poolside bar, which is very fun to hang out at. We go to 27 Restaurant as often as we can. On the modest side, we eat at B and M a lot for lunch. It's a tiny restaurant in the back of a convenience store in little Haiti. It's really, really good. And - Dumpling King is great - it's on 125 street in North Miami,
