What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend?
We have been really in our bubble. Since Jacob started working with Grove Bay hospitality we have been to a lot of their restaurants and they are really great and family friendly. We are always up for trying some ice cream...so Whip and Dip or the Chill-N in South Miami. Recently we went to Stubborn Seed on Miami beach, which was so fantastic.

We've been enjoying Bonefish Grill. They've been doing great takeout deals. The baja shrimp tacos are awesome. And, Sushi Sake in the Redlands. And then on the weekends, coming to the drive through. The smoothies are so good. And you know, everybody's cooped up at home with nothing to do. Going to get a smoothie is a good outing, and you don't have to get out of the car. That's awesome.

I love Raw South, which I know was mentioned in one of your recent interviews. And, Black Point has a great dolphin and salad. One of our locals is Alaine's Osteria in Palmetto Bay. It's usually packed, which is great for them, unfortunate for those waiting. But they do hand out wine on the house and make it as enjoyable as they can. I appreciate that. It's good Italian.

I’m vegan, so I really like Mediterranean foods. I like Daily Bread’s salad bar. In Midtown, the Love Life Café, and in Wynwood – Della Bowls. There’s a lot more vegan food coming out now that is not just salad. As a vegan, people think that’s all we eat.

With kids we cook a lot. Sage has been a place that we frequent - either their special of the day or their veggie burgers are good. It's kind of a no-frills place, but the food kind of speaks for itself. Also, Daily Bread is a go-to for us.

For Indian, we love both Bombay Darbar and Saffron that's down here in Pinecrest. We get any number of curry or Tandoori dishes depending on what our mood is that night. I like Grazianos steakhouse, on Bird and 92nd. Caffe Abbracci in the Gables is also beautiful place for a special occasion.

We really like to cook - when we go out, we like Thai and Asian food. We like Bangkok Cuisine in Homestead. We order the spicy beef salad and green papaya salad.
