What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend?
We love Sage, we pick up from there quite often. Milam's has been a complete lifesaver for us because they've done such a good job of keeping everything super clean and encouraging safety. And, Joanna's Marketplace. We also got the veggie green box from Aloha, but their season has ended.

I love Bangkok City on Bird Road - it is a tiny sushi restaurant. It's a small family restaurant and I always feel welcome there and they have such great sushi. I support Brewing Buddha cafe, the art house coffee shop. The owners are wonderful. I've actually run into them at the farmer's market before. Supporting small businesses seems more important now than ever.

My kids love LAN Pan Asian. My son gets shrimp dumplings and the chicken flat noodles. My daughter gets the chicken katsu and edamame. I usually get Sushi. If I had to pick like my favorite place to go right now it would be Ghee. I like to go for lunch. They have a set lunch, with only two options. It's nice because it makes you try different things. It’s a super price as well, I think it’s $11 dollars.

Right now, the only place we’re ordering from is Local Pie for pizza. It's delicious and we get to freeze it as well. I've been cooking a lot at home. In terms of restaurants before this situation, we used to go to Tacos and Tatoos a lot with the kids and Mi'talia in South Miami. Also, I love Pub Belly.

We go to Whisk quite a bit, and Joanna's market. And Cecile, the French bakery in South Miami.

Guadalajara - I love the Burito Norteno. It is really good. We go to Piola, which is great. And, Gaetano's Pizza, which is very, very good.

I only go to local places. Here in Palmetto Bay, the French Bakery on US1 and 144th, is my go to place. If you want an absolutely wonderful burger, I either go to Hole in the Wall on 144th or Pub Grill on 184th st. We're lucky that we have the best burgers in Miami right here.

Dragonfly is one of our favorites. They started in Gainesville, and then they got so big that they moved to Orlando and then finally moved to Miami. Also, Houston's and Capital Grille are just classic good staple restaurants.

Fish House on Miller. The first time I went there, I was like 'what in the world, this is so strange and the decor!' But, I love it. I've never had anything that was bad. They have live music on the weekends. Another great place that we go for a treat is, Vicky's milkshake bar. It's in the Grove.
