What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend?We travel up and down Krome Avenue a lot. So, we like to frequent the nurseries and the natural fruit stands around that area. I like the Last Carrot in Coconut Grove. I've been going there since I was a teenager. It's funny that question brought me to realize how long I've been here at home and not going anywhere.
What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend?I pretty much try to stay in Coconut Grove. I really like the curry at Atchana, it's so delicious. And, Atchana herself is just a spitfire. And then, I really like Last Carrot for lunch and then either Lokal or Spillover. Jeffrey Kushner knows what he's doing - His food is delicious. And their happy hour - $1 oysters. Are you kidding me?
What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend?That's tricky for me. I cook my own food. That was a decision I made about five years ago. That way, I know what I'm putting in my body. You can go somewhere and they'll say something on the menu and then all of the sudden it's something else. When I eat out, maybe I'll have lunch at the Last Carrot in Coconut Grove. I trust the food there.
What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend?We've gone to the Last Carrot a few times in the Grove. We order from Mi Italia. We've ordered from A Pizza Brooklyn. Of course, you guys. One of my favorite coffee places was a Brewing Buddha, but unfortunately they closed and don't even have takeout. We've gone to Wayside Market a few times. We've gone to Lokal to order and truthfully to walk around the Grove with a beer in hand. They have a window where you can can get a draft beer and burgers for takeout. Last week we went by and walked around the Grove, which is a bit apocalyptic with nobody around on a Sunday afternoon. There is Mojito Grill in South Miami. And, we've been getting ice cream delivered from Azucar through their Instagram page.
What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend?Love Mandolin and their Greek Village (salad), catch of the day. Milo’s lunch special is the best in town! www.annam-miami.com does a weekly tiffin on Monday’s which abides to meatless Monday and is the best Indian ever - made with love, check out their pop up dinners around town…they’re doing a Shabbat dinner in Wynwood in March. Everything at Surf Club Restaurant by Thomas Keller. Veggie pita at The Last Carrot in Coconut Grove. Cheeseburgers at LoKal in the Grove. Happy hour at Town in South Miami.
