What keeps you busy during the week?
Would you tell us a little bit about yourself? I grew up in New Jersey. I went to Rutgers undergraduate, and Columbia University for dental school. Then, I completed a fellowship in St. Louis, Missouri. I've been practicing oral surgery in the same location for the past 27 years.

What keeps you busy during the week?
Five days out of the week, I'm an attorney. I went to law school at UF and graduated in 2009. My practice is commercial litigation. Often times whatever I'm working on is connected to the dirt in one way or another. A lot of what I do is based in construction or real estate. Whether it's the building of a new project or litigation over a construction project.

What keeps you busy during the week?
I am the Dean of the School of Education and Human Development at Florida International University. So, I spend a lot of my time at work.
Abby And Jonathan
What keeps you busy during the week?
Jonathan is an associate rabbi at Temple Judea in Coral Gables and Abby is a special needs advocate and private tutor. Our 18-month-old keeps us busy with whatever downtime we have left.

What keeps you busy during the week?
I started my business in 1975 out of a two-bedroom apartment in Coconut Grove. One bedroom was my business and one my bedroom. Things haven't changed a whole lot. I've been working out of my house ever since. I am a graphic designer, and I've worked for just about every major place in Miami. I've been very lucky and I do a lot of corporate design work. I also get to do a lot of work for Fairchild Tropical Garden. One thing that I am doing a lot of now are magazines. I do the Ransom Everglades biannual magazine and also have done Bascom Palmer's magazine since 2002.

What keeps you busy during the week?
After I finished dental school, I moved to Vail because I love to ski and I worked in Vail as a dentist for a while. My father's friend was a dentist. He died suddenly of a heart attack. My dad called me up and said, 'they don't know what to do. You should come down and take over this practice.' I packed everything up and I moved back to Miami.

What keeps you busy during the week?
My last job was in Alaska, and I decided to go back home to San Diego and start my own company doing dinner parties and personal chef services. I took everything that I learned, including a college degree in English, and drafted up this imaginary business and turned it into a real thing. I continued to grow and take on more chefs. Robbie was my first real real chef that I took on and he was able to split responsibilities with me. We started dating and ended up getting married and had two kids.

I work as a birthday party performer and a music class teacher for the fabulous Jam with Jamie.

What keeps you busy during the week?
I am retired from Miami Fire Rescue. When I was 18, I was fascinated by fire, I was like a ‘little arsonist’. So, it wasn’t a coincidence that I ended up in the field. After I retired, I jumped into coaching cross-fit – it was around the time when cross fit first started in Miami. A lot of meal plans would come through our gym which led to an opportunity for us to create and offer our own licensed plan. Now, I am an account manager for Perfect Fuel Meals which is a meal plan for athletic lifestyles. It’s a 40-30-30, based on the Dr. Barry Sears model of 40% carbs, 30% protein and 30% fat. When you select your meals online, you see your daily intake numbers and can set goals. Based on your mission, you can adjust your individual program. My goal is teaching people how nutrition is their medicine. Through food, we are treating the cause rather than the symptoms. People can change their lives through what and how they eat.

My kids and job are usually what keeps me most occupied during the week. I'm an attorney with a great law firm in Miami called Bilzin Sumberg.
