Bombay Darbar: Mango Curry chicken and Butter Chicken. Threefold Cafe: Everything! (but seriously: Smashed Avo, Chickie Babe, Beef short rib). Don Gloton: Chicken cachapa and reina pepiada arepa.

For a pasta – in the new Brickell City Market there is a hand made pasta station. Their Bolognese is phenomenal. I really like the gator fingers at Lokal – owned by Matthew Kuscher. A new hidden gem is Shelly’s in South Miami. And on Tuesday, you can get their whole fish collar for $20.

Anything that chef Niven Patel does. Ghee is our all-time favorite and he just opened Mamey in South Miami. Then, we go every week to Babes Meat and Counter. We just ride our bikes there. Darren toggles between the Bahn Mi and the Cuban sandwich. I toggle between the BLT and the burger and Scout always gets the BLT.

Madruga for the chicken salad sandwich, Chana for the whole fried snapper with red curry (ask for the eggplant well done), Hole in the Wall for the seared tuna on salad, Chalan on the Beach for aguadito de pescado, and Babe's Meat & Counter for their Montreal smoked meat reuben.

We are still not venturing out too much. We've been ordering Peruvian food. Aromas del Peru Roma is great. Sometimes we order from Pummarola in the Falls. One of our favorites that we used to go to, but can still get delivery is Shaddai the Lebanese family restaurant. They are really great people.

Blue Collar. Pho Tang and Caribbean Delite – their vegetarian chickpea and potato roti and the chicken curry paratha are really good.

Kiki does not love to go to restaurants very often because she cooks and we have too many great cooks in the family. However, when we do go out, we love LAN Pan Asian for Age tofu and fiery spinach, The Seven Dials for creative salads and fish and chips & yummy desserts, pizza from Apizza Brooklyn, and Ghee in Downtown Dadeland ( followed by dessert at Nanndi!)

Eating House. Get the heirloom tomato and "coconut ice" salad, their beef tartare and never miss a "Dirt Cup" for dessert.
