I am a voracious reader. I always have a book that I'm reading. A worthy splurge is to go on a little bit of a crazy shopping spree at a Barnes and Noble. It's so interesting to get into other people's minds and concepts and it's so good for our brain.

I’ll use splurge in terms of time. A worthy splurge is going to Everglades National Park – going all the way down to Flamingo - and taking time to rent a canoe, to go out to the islands, and walk the Anhinga trail. We spend so many of our family together times in the Everglades National Park and Biscayne National Park. We’re the only county in the country with two national parks – which is just an incredible bounty.

Trying out new restaurants in Miami is always exciting. Taking a tour to learn the history of different Miami neighborhoods is something we like doing. Planning a Harley drive to Key Largo for lunch or dinner is also fun to do!
