I don't eat out that much. If I want a traditional breakfast, Berries in Coconut Grove. Also, there is a Rastafarian place in North Miami called Konata's.

I really like Stubborn Seed, south of fifth. I like Lilikoi, also south of fifth. Everything's organic, I really appreciate that. We do like to try new restaurants. My husband used to have a restaurant, so he loves going out to dinner and trying new things and he's in real estate and brokers restaurant and retail deals. He's always in the know and has to check out new places that pop up. I'm usually his sidekick. Also, Plant Food and Wine at the Sacred Space- I Love, love, love what they're doing over there.

We eat out a lot. My daughter has declared herself a foodie. We like exposing her to as many flavors as possible and we don’t subscribe to the idea of taking her to restaurants that cater to children. We really want her to eat what we eat. We like the St Roche Market because you don't have to eat at the same place every time and they've got that great bar in the middle and there's a lot of healthy options. We like Seasons 52 in the Gables, Matsuri on Bird Road and Dragonfly in Doral. For a date night, my husband and I really like Byblos and Planta on the Beach - the creativity that goes into their Vegan menu is incredible.

Tom: Two Chefs in Pinecrest is our numero uno. We brought so many wine makers from around the world to Two Chefs for winemaker lunches and dinners. They have all been blown away by the caliber of the cuisine in this little strip mall spot. Jan Jorgensen is Danish and classically trained and understands wine so much better than many of the younger chefs whose bold flavors really compete with wine. Try the fillet or pork chop – they are fabulous.

My kids love LAN Pan Asian. My son gets shrimp dumplings and the chicken flat noodles. My daughter gets the chicken katsu and edamame. I usually get Sushi. If I had to pick like my favorite place to go right now it would be Ghee. I like to go for lunch. They have a set lunch, with only two options. It's nice because it makes you try different things. It’s a super price as well, I think it’s $11 dollars.

Honestly, we're big fans of cooking at home. However, when we do venture out, we're loving some of the Downtown Dadeland spots like Brick, Barley and Ghee. The cauliflower mac n cheese at Brick will blow your mind.

When we come down and visit you guys, we usually always go to the Little River Cooperative farm. It's an awesome farm for any local gardeners. They have very good plants and they are very helpful people. They also have classes and different things that they offer. We also go to Jack Lyon nursery.
