I think a couple of the restaurants on the Beach are certainly accessible. Joe's and the restaurant across the street from it. I've been waiting for the reopening of the Lobster Bar on 4th street. That was our favorite.
ACLU, Emily's List, Joes Stone Crab, Lobster Shack, Olympia Theater, Salvation Army

My favorite in South Miami is Whisk for the crispy brussels sprouts, fried green tomatoes, bacon wrapped dates, the burritos, the barbecue chicken salad, pretty much everything there is good. Joanna's marketplace is our go- to breakfast, cold brew and lunch sandwich spot. And, we've started going to Raw South.

Fish House on Miller. The first time I went there, I was like 'what in the world, this is so strange and the decor!' But, I love it. I've never had anything that was bad. They have live music on the weekends. Another great place that we go for a treat is, Vicky's milkshake bar. It's in the Grove.

Seasons 52. They always have stuff I can eat there. And Matsuri for Japanese - I avoid the rice and get sashimi and vegetable soup. They have a great conch that's sautéed with what seems to be green beans or maybe it's cactus.

27 is a unique place in Miami. When people are in town, it’s where we go. It’s a fun, cozy – not fancy, they have great cocktails. I am pretty simple – I really like Lucali for pizza on Sunset Harbor. I would be happy to go there for my birthday and just have a pizza. I also think what Jeremy Ford is doing at Stubborn Seedis beautifully plated and tasty and good for a special occasion.

We like Raw South like for a quick light lunch. We like Indian food, so we go to Ghee a lot. We like Glass and Vine, because the kids can play like alongside us at the park. And, we love Hillstone – it’s an oldie but a classic.

I do like to try new places, because we're covering new restaurants all the time. There's a new place on a new Mediterranean place called T U R on Giralda. It's super clean and very good. I like my food deconstructed, I like to see what it is. Caja Caliente is really good Cuban food done by a young 25 year old named Monica. I like to eat at the bar at Zucca at St Michele. It's super fun and the hotel is beautiful. Their charcuterie board is great. It has this European feeling and I feel like I'm somewhere else when I go there. Also, soup at Miss Saigon on Giralda and they have a location in Pinecrest. It's very good and you can eat there all the time.

There’s no local outlet for bands to play down south. Right now, you have to go north to Wynwood or downtown. There’s a place called Las Rosas. It’s good for bands as it’s easy to load in and out and the sound is great. Also, Churchill's – which is a British pub in North East. They have good punk shows.

In Homestead, we like Puerto Vallarta. I usually either get the shrimp enchiladas, fish tacos or the seafood burrito. In South Miami, we love LAN Pan Asian.

There is a little place called Java and Juice on 151st and Biscayne. We don't go out much now, but we like the energy there. I know the guy who owns the restaurant and he's a very conscious person. It's really a little hole in the wall, but we like it.
