What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend?
In Homestead, we like Puerto Vallarta. I usually either get the shrimp enchiladas, fish tacos or the seafood burrito. In South Miami, we love LAN Pan Asian.

Ghee in Downtown Dadeland. I like the lentil fritters. Their vegetarian dishes are great. Plant Food and Wine in Wynwood. I appreciate what they are doing.

Yeah. Before COVID we would go to Chef Adrianne's and Cracked, which is another one of her restaurants. Apizza Brooklyn is one of our favorites as well. We would go to the Brick every week before COVID. We really don't go out very much, especially with the baby now. I can't wait to go back to the restaurants and eating food the way that it was supposed to be plated.

We do a lot of cooking at home so trips to local restaurants are the staples, Wagon’s West, Malanga, really miss Ruben’s!

I prefer to just get something and bring it to my house. I'm with people all day long, having conversations, and I love going home to be by myself at night. When I do go out – I like Miyako. I get the Yaki Soba or Udon.

The beauty of this question is how difficult it is to answer in Miami now. I’m a huge fan of the short rib green curry at Cake Thai, anything on the menu at Alter or Ghee or Edge. There are so many others I wish I could get to more. I’m extremely impressed by what Melissa Sosa is doing at the Zak the Baker Deli. And I doubt a month goes by that I haven’t visited Clive’s Café in Little Haiti.

What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend?
We love Cafe Portofino. It's in the Marshals shopping center on 136th street. It's a nice Italian place and their food is always delicious and their service is great. I always get the Capellini Castegliano which is pasta with pink sauce and shrimp - and they know that. We also like to go to Sage by Chef's Kitchen, which is a great hole in the wall. The food is always delicious and Hector is great. Now, you can actually sit down and order. Maddie and I like to go there a lot. We also like A-Pizza Brooklyn. My son's favorite restaurant in the world is Five Guys, because he likes the burgers. We also like to stay home and cook. We like the new place, Fiola, in South Miami. It really pretty, quiet, and the food is really, really good. Their short rib ravioli is delicious.

For Indian, we love both Bombay Darbar and Saffron that's down here in Pinecrest. We get any number of curry or Tandoori dishes depending on what our mood is that night. I like Grazianos steakhouse, on Bird and 92nd. Caffe Abbracci in the Gables is also beautiful place for a special occasion.

I am a Palmetto Bay guy, and having a small business, I understand the need to support our small businesses. My favorite place not just to eat, but to have a beer, is Golden Rule, which is right next to my house. There's a great Italian place in Palmetto Bay called, Cafe Portofino, which I absolutely love. And, there's a pizza place called Zio Artú, which is fairly new.

For like a quick lunch or coffee, we love Joanna's marketplace in South Miami. Also in South Miami, Whisk is a good spot for dinner. It's like Southern comfort food. We also like Raw South.
