What for you is a worthy splurge?
Oh Geez. Dark chocolate almonds. On a bigger level, I just got myself a new guitar, a Martin 1991 oo-21. My dad had Martin Guitars. He had a 1959 D-18, which he bought brand new in college. His grandfather died and left him enough money to buy a little car and a Martin Guitar. When he first bought it, he removed the fret board and put on a classical fret board. So, it's much wider because he had big fingers. Of course it destroyed the value, but it made it priceless in my mind because there's nothing else like it. My new one reminds me of him.

What for you is a worthy splurge?
My wife and daughter are of Asian descent and in Boston there was a wealth of Asian food. It's hard to find here, but yesterday, my wife and I decided that we would take a date lunch and we went to Hutong. It's expensive, but really great Chinese food. What wouldn't be a splurge in Boston was a very worthy splurge here.

What for you is a worthy splurge?
A day to relax and reconnect. Just spend time and appreciate being alive. I think that's the most important thing. I think that's the best splurge you can do for yourself.

A splurge would be two or three pounds of a stone crabs or two bags of your ready to eat jack fruit. One of them won't make it home. And, really good oysters, that's a good splurge.

Definitely food. I love the experiences you can get through food.

One would be anything food related. We'll splurge and get stone crabs or sushi. Our kids have also taken on sushi. My son can put down a plate of sushi, like no one's business. It's unbelievable. What started out as a this is very cute and funny has turned into a very expensive take out bill. If there's room for two, the other splurge is traveling. I think investing in experiences is truly very important.

Amber has to be involved. Good restaurant, travel, or a great bottle of wine.
