We'll use Uber eats for PF Chang's or Diced. We'll order from A Brooklyn Pizza or Steve's Pizza. We just had the new pizza on 152nd last Friday. It was my wife's birthday and we had some people over and did the whole social distancing happy hour in my yard. Everyone brought their coolers and what they wanted to drink. Pizza was great. Everyone loved the pizza place when they were in the Grove (behind Johnny Rockets).
A pizza Brooklyn, Miami Dolphins, PF Changs, Steve's Pizza

When we come down and visit you guys, we usually always go to the Little River Cooperative farm. It's an awesome farm for any local gardeners. They have very good plants and they are very helpful people. They also have classes and different things that they offer. We also go to Jack Lyon nursery.

We just went to Peacock Garden in Coconut Grove. That was really good. Laura loved it. We went to Bakan in Wynwood, I enjoyed that. We always like Steve's Pizza. I'm kind of a pizza snob being from New York. That's the closest we've come to finding good New York pizza.

I'm not a big restaurant kind of guy. I always recommend Flanigan's to everybody. Up north there's a place called Izziban that's good for Korean barbecue.

Local Pie. Last Sunday, I left your stand and went and bought two cauliflower pizzas. Another business is Phitness Lab. It's a small boutique gym and the owner has poured 13 years of his life into it. It's a great family environment. I like to support them.

We have been really in our bubble. Since Jacob started working with Grove Bay hospitality we have been to a lot of their restaurants and they are really great and family friendly. We are always up for trying some ice cream...so Whip and Dip or the Chill-N in South Miami. Recently we went to Stubborn Seed on Miami beach, which was so fantastic.

We do a lot of walking around our neighborhood. Ben and I are in office buildings all day. So any opportunity to be together with our girls and be outdoors is our go-to. In the evenings and weekends, we do a lot of walking to restaurants in the neighborhood. We go to Sports Grill a lot. Mia Italia is down the street. In the mornings, we'll walk to Deli Lane. Before I moved back to Miami, I was living in New York. I think this area is about as close as you can get in Miami to feeling that energy and be able to just pop in somewhere. If we're doing take out or bringing home food, I love Havana Harry's and Flanagan's. I'm a pescatarian, so we eat a lot of Mediterranean food. When we go out to eat, Mandolin is one of my favorites. If we're going a little nicer, we'll go to some Michael Schwartz places.

I cook a lot, but if I go out, I prefer local mom and pops. I like the Beehive, it's more of a Vegan spot. He's a Brazilian and makes everything that day and sells out. Also, I like the happy hour at Doc B's and Tap 42.

27 is one of my favorites in Miami. Their roasted cauliflower with pesto is knock your socks off delicious. The sous chef is a young Cuban American like me and he's always embracing South Florida flavors and ingredients that we have here. They actually have their own garden there. The house smoked lamb ribs with pomegranate molasses are delicious. Also, Madruga Bakery. They feel like a farm to table a bakery. They have this amazing guava and cream cheese croissant. But - Babes Meat and Counter is my number one go to spot here in South Florida. My favorite thing on their menu right now is the Italian roast pork sandwich which features some callaloo greens from Margie (at Bee Heaven). It’s like a French dip sandwich, but with fantastic, roasted pork, shaved super thin. It’s served with a provolone cheese and on Sullivan Street bread.
