15 years in Brickell (I make the drive just for turmeric tonic)
Where are you originally from and what brought you to town?
I was born and raised in Miami. I went to Palmetto high school and grew up in Mangowood.
Please share about what you do for a livelihood or what keeps you busy during the week?
I work in wealth management for a major financial institution.
How often do you come to the market?
I come twice a month to stock up on LNB’s famous Turmeric tonic.
Do you have a market ritual? If so, please describe.
While at LNB, I always go for the green Tropikale.
What’s your favorite thing to buy at LNB Grovestand and why?
The Turmeric tonic. I substitute the tonic for breakfast as I suffer from young onset Parkinson’s Disease. The tonic helps my medicine absorb better.
What’s your favorite thing to buy at other stands at the market?
I have a sweet tooth so probably the chocolates or cookies at Zak.

A local captain selling freshly caught seafood
Most-frequented local restaurants and what dish to order:
Blu Pizza in South Miami – I get the Salmonparisienne.
For special occasions, I go to:
Dairy Queen for an Oreo blizzard.
A worthy splurge:
LoKal Burgers in the grove.
A+W: We love their sweet potato fries and grouper reuben. Have you been to their seafood spot, Spill Over? We went this week, and they had Counter Culture’s kombucha with LNB Jackfruit on tap.
