What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend?People always ask us and it's a tough one. Boia De for sure. It's such a memorable experience because they actually care. The servers take time to know you and they're not trying to just pump you through. That was the last restaurant we ate at. We like getting takeout from Lobster Shack, south of fifth. One of our perfect afternoons is getting lobster roll takeouts, bringing a bottle of wine, and going to sit in the park with the kids. And, Michael's Genuine is always a crowd pleaser for us.
What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend?I love St Roch Food Hall in the Design District. I love Vietnamese noodle soup, and there's a stand with great pho and bahn mi sandwiches. And then, there's an Israeli street food place across the way from them that has this great whole roasted cauliflower with amazing dipping sauces. And then, there is another seafood place there with a fantastic mahi-mahi sandwich with shaved fennel. One of my favorites is Michael's Genuine. It's old school, but so far I haven't found anything to replace it. Michael is a really nice guy. They also have a roasted cauliflower dish with a parsley sauce that is amazing.
What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend?I still find myself at the Bar at Michael’s Genuine occasionally. When they have it, I like the wood-oven roasted eggplant with tahini. When they have simple vegetable soups at lunch, I really enjoy it too- broth and veggies. Whisk Gourmet when I’m craving a 3-D, satisfying sandwich. Chef Brendan makes the best ones in town. He and his sister Kirsten are really special people, and that makes everything taste even better.
What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend? For like a quick lunch or coffee, we love Joanna's marketplace in South Miami. Also in South Miami, Whisk is a good spot for dinner. It's like Southern comfort food. We also like Raw South.

What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend?Honestly, we're big fans of cooking at home. However, when we do venture out, we're loving some of the Downtown Dadeland spots like Brick, Barley and Ghee. The cauliflower mac n cheese at Brick will blow your mind.
