What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend? For fish, I love Captains Tavern. My favorite is the Hog fish. For a quick lunch, we go to Wagon’s West. It’s like our Cheers – they all know my name. I’ll get a grilled cheese or scrambled eggs. If I want to be really bad - they have the best homemade cherry pie.

What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend?Trattoria Luna (next to Roasters) is our family go to. They will literally make you anything - whether it’s on the menu or not. I usually get the tuna steak or tortellini. Also, we’re boaters - so we go often to Boaters Grill which is at the end of Key Biscayne – in a place called No Name Harbor. They have the most amazing fish and rice – with ceviche, tostones and frijoles – my kids eat ceviche because of that place.
What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend?I'm more of a classic guy. I like the mainstay type restaurants, like Caffe Abbracci or Christys , or even Garcia's Seafood Market, or Captain's Tavern. These local gems have really good food and they're not touristy.
What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend? For Indian, we love both Bombay Darbar and Saffron that's down here in Pinecrest. We get any number of curry or Tandoori dishes depending on what our mood is that night. I like Grazianos steakhouse, on Bird and 92nd. Caffe Abbracci in the Gables is also beautiful place for a special occasion.
What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend?I love Beehive juice bar. It’s a vegan restaurant and everyday they have something different. My favorite thing there is a Pianono – which is a Brazillan dish. Books, 35 years ago, Nino was just opening his restaurant. Both of our businesses have grown together. I see Nino at least once a month buying books. It’s not on the menu (and he’ll make it for anyone) - his chicken parm is the best in town!
